Leading care provider My Choice Healthcare’s CEO Bethan Evans has been shortlisted in the prestigious Social Care Top 30 Awards.
Celebrating the exceptional individuals whose leadership, innovation and dedication are making a lasting impact across the sector, a public vote to select the top ten finalists is open until Thursday 1st October.
The finalists and overall winner will be announced at an awards dinner on Tuesday 13th October at the London Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square, where leaders from across the industry will come together to celebrate excellence in the care sector.
Having devoted over 30 years to the care industry, Bethan’s genuine passion for the sector and belief that everyone deserves the opportunity to receive person-centred care to achieve their aspirations, maximise their independence and to live life to the fullest has impressed the judges. With extensive experience across the public and private care sectors, Bethan joined My Choice Healthcare seven years ago, and has developed the business into a network of 11 care homes across England and Wales, alongside overseeing a domiciliary care service.
Bethan has created a culture where residents and service users feel safe, valued and heard, and where teams feel supported, inspired and empowered. Beyond her role at My Choice Healthcare, she champions the wider sector through board and committee roles, advocating for higher standards, stronger policies and recognition of social care as a vital pillar of society.
Speaking about her shortlisting, Bethan said: “Being shortlisted alongside so many of the inspiring leaders who make such a difference in our industry is a real privilege, and I feel humbled and delighted to be recognised in this way.

Founded in 2019 by Craig Sheppard and Neil Askew, My Choice Healthcare supports individuals across South and Mid Wales and the West Midlands, empowering people to live full, independent lives and achieve their aspirations. Now employing nearly 500 staff, the organisation has achieved significant success since its establishment.
